Out of left field, as my American friend would say!
I have put the Mustang to one side having ruined the windows for a second time.
Some time ago, one of our customers returned some decals saying that they were out of register. I couldn't see this so I thought that I would use them myself. The Revell kit was for an Austrian Saab Draken. However, as I have worked for a Swedish bank I thought I would use the decals to do a Swedish one. As I was after a quick and easy, I took the plain grey option with the huge red numbers.
This is the result.
So far I can't say that I have messed anything up - no second goes, no throwing away. Yet again it's a 1/72nd aircraft so I do seem to be a bit luckier with that scale.
Here are the 'snaps'. (Don't forget to double click on the pics to see a much larger image)
I make a range of models from 1/12th scale cars down to 144th scale aircraft. I also paint a range of figurines from 54mm up to 1/10th scale busts. Don't expect too much super detailing - I am pretty much an out of the box modeller.

Mustang is close to finished
Here are some shots of the bodywork of the Shelby Mustang.
I now have a second kit so I have some replacement transparencies and some spare decals for the rear spoiler so I should be able to complete the model this weekend.
I just wanted to record it before I make a mess of it!
